The department of the Ancient Near East, in collaboration with the IAP 6/34 project organizes a two-day workshop on adoption in the Old Babylonian period. For a wider perspective, the organizers wish to invite contributions situated in the Old-Assyrian, Neo-Babylonian and Egyptian contexts as well. The dates would be Thursday 1 and Friday 2 April 2010. Colleagues who wish to attend are asked to register with the secretary G. Suurmeijer (email below). If you wish to deliver a paper at the workshop, please mention the title of your paper in your email. Further details and program will be communicated through email. An abstract will be requested by the 1st of november. |
